Leonard Grace, whose real name is Awono Essengue Jean Leonard, was born on 07/18/1986. From a family of musicians, he began very early to be interested in music since Sunday school, but was not very active. It was in 2005 that the gift of singing became more enhanced and the artist thus joined the Bible club of his establishment where he was one of the main cantors of the group. 2006, the artist went further and began to write down all his songs which inspired him from the Lord and his own life experiences.
In 2007, the young brother joined a small community in the city of Yaoundé where he became very active in the church singing group and became one of the leaders of the group. In this passion for music and singing, the artist committed to mastering a musical instrument, notably the guitar. This is how in 2010, the artist took charge of training on the guitar, which subsequently allowed him to compose advantages of songs.
It was finally in 2017, after several years serving in the church that the artist decided to embark on a musical career. He thus entered the studio in February 2017, to produce the album which was released on February 27, 2018 entitled "the eternal of armies".
An album that highlights the human journey and life experiences of change, in an RnB, folkloric, soul style and many others.
The artist's goal is to communicate through his music, a clear message of the gospel, in order to bring the presence of God into the lives of listeners, to bring those who are far from God closer to him, to bring comfort to those who are persecuted, etc.
