DSK affair: Nafissatou Diallo addresses Christians
Nafissatou Diallo (Nafi), the maid who accuses Dominique Strauss-Kahn (DSK) of sexual abuse, spoke at a press conference at a Christian cultural center in Brooklyn on Thursday, July 28, 2011.
The young Guinean maid was dressed in a black pantsuit and an immaculate shirt.
Nafissatou Diallo, 32, thanked Christians and all the people who have supported her since the start of the DSK affair. “With my daughter, I cry every day,” she declares.
The young immigrant would spend sleepless nights, consumed by stress and traumatized by the rape of which she was allegedly a victim at the hands of the ex-head of the IMF. “We can't get any sleep,” she added.
Treated as a “prostitute” by the American press, Nafissatou was abandoned by her (Muslim) community and adopted by the New York Christian community who believe in her good faith.
She wants to fight for all the women in the world who suffer sexual violence. “I don’t want what happened to me to happen to other women,” she assured.
