The 10 Biblical Dispensations”: Pastor Joseph Fotué unveils a work to better understand God’s plan throughout the ages
“The 10 Biblical Dispensations”: Douala welcomes a new work by Pastor Joseph Fotué
Douala, Saturday July 11, 2026 The Metamorphoo Christian Center, located in the Ndogbong district, served as the setting this Saturday for the dedication ceremony of the latest work by Pastor Joseph Fotué, entitled The 10 Biblical Dispensations. For almost two hours, the author unfolded, in front of an attentive assembly, the main outlines of a 107-page book which intends to enlighten believers on the way in which God carries out his plan throughout the ages.
A teaching, not a theological revolution
From the start, Pastor Fotué wanted to put an end to any confusion: talking about “dispensations” does not mean that God changes. Drawing on Hebrews 13:8, he recalled that God remains the same yesterday, today and forever. What varies, he explained, is the way in which God administers his plan in different periods under law, under grace, and differently again in the millennium and in eternity.
To illustrate his point, the author summoned two well-known passages. First Matthew 10:5-6, where Jesus sends his disciples exclusively to “the lost sheep of the house of Israel” an instruction specific to the age of the law, before after the resurrection, Matthew 28 opens the mission to all nations. Then John 8, the episode of the woman caught in adultery: the Mosaic law prescribed stoning, but Jesus, bearing grace, acted otherwise not to contradict Scripture, but because another dispensation was at work. Understanding these distinctions, insisted the pastor, is the key to a fair reading of the Scriptures.
The work is available at the Metamorphoo Christian Center in Douala located in Ndogbong behind Camlait first entrance on the left or via Camfaith and Radio Bonne Nouvelle.
Participants won over and challenged
The presentation aroused keen interest, reflected by numerous questions from the public before the handover of the autographed copies, each participant leaving with his book in exchange for free participation.
Several voices were expressed at the end of the meeting. Jean-Marie Zidio sees it as a response to a spiritual emergency: at a time when "people clearly oppose grace to the law", a good understanding of the work should allow one to "better follow Christ".
Émilie Mbok, of the Metamorphoo Christian Center, welcomed additional teaching on how to live and understand the present time, while preparing for the times to come.
Augustin, who arrived late, nevertheless said he received "good insight" which makes him want to delve deeper not only into the book, but into the Bible as a whole, emphasizing in passing that the work details ten dispensations when we generally talk about seven.
Brother Cyril particularly appreciated the rigor of the author's approach, which he compares to a scientific approach to biblical study, as well as the way in which grace itself was subdivided to illuminate a pivotal period between law and grace.
Finally, Gaëlle Fokam retains the novelty of the number ten in the face of the seven dispensations usually taught, and especially the fact that the author has not only exposed each period, but also the errors to avoid. For her, this key to reading allows us to understand “why God said this and not that” according to the times, and gives a renewed vision of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. She expresses the hope that the work “reaches the nations”.
One book, one vision
At the end of this dedication evening, the message that emerges is unanimous: beyond doctrinal teaching, The 10 Biblical Dispensations aims to be a tool of discernment to help Christians better interpret all of the Scriptures and, according to the wish expressed by several participants, to carry this revelation well beyond the walls of the Metamorphoo Christian Center.
